SHOT MAN FIGHTS FOR LIFE – Monday March 11 2013

– A man is fighting for his life after being shot in the head in Dandenong yesterday.
The 31-year-old Dandenong man suffered life-threatening injuries after the 1:20pm incident at a house in Brady Street.
Police would not reveal the reason for the shooting but said last night two men, a 42-year-old from Dandenong and a 49-year-old from Rowville, were assisting Armed Crime Taskforce detectives with inquiries. Victoria Police spokeswoman Leading Senior Constable Julie-Anne Newman said officers did not believe the shooting was related to outlaw motorcycle gangs and would not confirm if the men were known to each other or police.
The victim was taken to The Alfred Hospital – Herald Sun
