SON COMFORTED MOTHER AFTER DEATHS – Tuesday March 19 2013

– The son of one of two farmers shot dead, who is now being questioned by police over the killings, comforted his grief-stricken mother in hospital.
Last night, homicide detectives were questioning Ross Streeter, 30, over the deaths of his father, Doug, and his uncle, John Streeter, in Central Victoria.
Doug’s wife, Helen, found the two bodies on the Streeter’s sheep farm in rural Natte Yallock.
A source close to the investigation said Mr Streeter was at his mother’s bedside at the Maryborough District Hospital as she was treated for shock after making last Thursday’s discovery.
Ross Streeter was found in Avoca on Saturday, near the home of his father, with what police described as self-inflicted injuries.
He was taken under police escort to the Royal Melbourne Hospital.
He was discharged yesterday and taken by the Homicide Squad to be questioned – Herald Sun
