– Wounded bikie Daniel Pegoraro has left hospital, still riddled with bullets.
The Hells Angel, who was shot in the driveway of his Epping home on Sunday night, has returned home with bullets lodged in his back.
Daniel’s father, Joe, said surgeons were waiting until swelling subsided before removing bullets lodged near his spine and liver.
Daniel, 28, has emerged as a prominent bikie in Melbourne’s outlaw motorcycle gang scene despite a short stint as a club member. His brother, Ben, is a member of Hells Angels affiliate Red Devils MC.
The Armed Crime Taskforce is investigating the shooting, believed to have been committed by an associate after an altercation outside the family home.
The Pegoraros were angered shots were fired with Daniel’s children inside the house.
