FAKE MONEY ALERT FOR MELBOURNE’S NORTH – Friday July 12 2013

– An abundance of counterfeit $100 and $50 notes being circulated in Melbourne’s north has prompted police to call for greater vigilance. Victoria Police spokeswoman Kelly Yates said detectives were investigating about 40 reports of fake notes being used at stores stretching from Heidelberg to Epping.
