MOB BOSS RELEASED – Friday July 12 2013

– The convicted one-time head of the American mob family that inspired the film “Donnie Brasco”, will no longer have to spend the rest of his life behind bars.
A federal judge yesterday reduced Joseph Massino’s life sentence to time served – about 10 years.
The 70-year-old former boss of the Bonnano crime family has been doing time for several slayings.
They include the execution of a mobster who vouched for undercover FBI agent Donnie Brasco in the late 1980s.
Brasco’s story became a movie starring Johnny Depp and Al Pacino – Herald Sun
