Authorities say three gun-wielding men were arrested shortly afterward and one has been identified by witnesses as the shooter.
The motive for the shooting is unclear. Police say they’re unsure if the man killed was the target or if he was a part of the video or a spectator.
There was a crowd so large during the rap video taping, undercover Philadelphia police officers were watching over it.

That’s when they saw a 33-year-old man being gunned down in the street.
‘I didn’t hear it, but I pulled up and the scene was just ridiculous,’ resident Terron Watson said.
Investigators say more than 100 people were gathered for the recording of an amateur rap video when someone fired shots striking the victim.

‘The scene initially was very hectic. Once shots were fired, you’ve got a crowd of a 100 people, they flee in every direction,’ Philadelphia Police Chief Inspector Scott Small said.
In the melee, a car accidentally ran over the victim who had been shot in the head.
He was transported to Albert Einstein Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

The officers who were on the scene grabbed potential suspects.
Detectives say they found guns on three men and one was identified as the killer.
‘There were other individuals out sitting on their porches, walking up and down the sidewalk; we had heavy traffic riding up and down the street, so the fact there is only one victim is pretty incredible,’ Small said.
Investigators don’t know what led to the shooting or if the victim was targeted; either way, residents say it’s senseless.
‘It’s unsafe and it’s not even hot yet so we just hope that it stops and our children can have a place to thrive, grow, and to play,’ resident Desiree Sommerville said.
The name of the 33-year-old victim has not been released.
