BRUNSWICK COUNTY DETECTIVES SEEK LARCENY SUSPECT

– Detectives with the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office are searching for a suspect wanted in connection with a larceny at a Subway in Calabash.

The incident occurred at the sandwich shop at 9869 Ocean Highway in Calabash at 6:25 p.m., Dec. 5, according to sheriff’s office spokeswoman Emily Flax.

A man reportedly walked into an area designated for employees only and stole a purse, Flax said.

The suspect is a described as a black male who wore a red hat, wind breaker—possibly Chicago Bulls–and dark pants. The suspect and another man were seen in a white minivan, Flax said.
