ON HIS WAY TO MURDER TWO POLICEMEN

December 23 2014

– This is the last image of double cop killer Ismaaiyl Brinsley before he murdered two officers as they sat in their patrol car.
Brinsley, 28, is shown on surveillance video walking through a mall next to the Barlcays Center in Atlantic Avenue, Brooklyn, New York.
It came shortly after he arrived from Baltimore – reportedly by Bolt Bus – with the intention of killing two members of the NYPD.
In the footage he is carrying a bag, which police believe contains the silver Taurus handgun he used to kill officer Rafael Ramos and Wenjian Liu.
NYPD officials released the images today in the hope that members of the public will recognize him and come forward with vital information.

NYPD Chief of Detectives Robert Boyce said: ‘What you see over here are some images, we have a tape of the Atlantic Center Mall.
‘We’re asking the public’s assistance if they see him – because right now we don’t know where he was for two hours.
‘He’s walking round there, he has a bag in his hand, he’s had that bag in his hand for most of the day. We have him with that bag over by the crime scene as well. We believe the gun was in that bag.
‘It’s a styrofoam container within that white bag – we’re thinking he pulled it out when he wanted to shoot.’
The Atlantic Center is about two miles from the scene of the shooting.
Investigators – who admit they have a two-hour gap in their timeline between him reaching the city at 12.07pm and attacking at 2.47pm – only know that he rode a subway from Manhattan to Brooklyn before choosing his targets and coldly firing four bullets at their heads.
Officer also know he visited the Barclays Center on Atlantic Avenue, where they found the discarded phone he earlier stole from ex-girlfriend Sheneka Thompson, whom he shot that morning.

A HISTORY OF VIOLENCE, ARRESTS AND UTTER CONTEMPT FOR THE POLICE
Ismaaiyl Brinsley, the double police murderer who took his own life after his sickening attack on two New York officers, had a long history of arrests.
He had also previously expressed anti-police sentiment on his social media profiles. But what remains unclear is exactly what prompted his murderous rampage.
What is clear is that over recent months he had drifted across the United States and did not appear to have a clear base.
His previous offences, while lengthy, seem mainly low-level – although in 2011 he faced charges of obstructing a police officer.
Brinsley’s estranged sister has spoken out to say that her brother was ’emotionally troubled’ and his life was ‘spiraling out of control’ at the time of the killings.
Jalaa’a Brinsley, 29, told the New York Post that she cut ties with her brother once he turned violent and was headed for a life of crime.
She said: ‘He chooses to do what he wants to do no matter what I say, his mother, anybody. You tell him left he goes right. What more can you do with a family member that’s spiraling out of control. What can you do about that?’
Police have been unable to find an address for him. Dailymail.com has pieced together what is known of his movements and criminal history.

There are cures and solutions for many evils, but no remedy for the worst of them all - the apathy of human beings. The sound of the Italian language being spoken is as good as my favourite music. I hate corrupt cops. I relentlessly and passionately pursue anybody and anything that sets my soul on fire. I'm a dog lover, and all my dogs are considered family members. I have an obsession with photography. I have some close friends who are household names, but shall always remain anonymous. I’m crazy but not lazy. Losing a soulmate has hurt me badly.
