Police are searching for a man who allegedly sent a tracking device via Australia Post in an attempt to locate a woman.
On Monday, April 4th, 2016 a man attended the St Alban’s Australia Post store and posted a package containing a music speaker care of a woman’s refuge home located in Croydon.
When staff at the refuge received the package they became suspicious and decided to inspect its contents.
The package contained a music speaker, with an iPhone hand-wired to it.
Investigators believe that the phone was being used as a tracking device in an attempt to locate the victim.
Police have released CCTV images of a man they believe may be able to assist in their inquiries.
He is perceived to be Asian in appearance, in his 30s with black hair.
He was wearing a green polo shirt, light pants and sunglasses.
